These cookies will cure whatever ails ya. The recipe is my great-great aunt's. I just can't stop eating these things when I get a hankerin'. If you don't believe me, try them:
Flo's No Bake Chocolate Cooky
(makes 3ish dozen)
Combine in a pot:
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick unsalted butter or margarine
3 T. cocoa
1/4 t. salt
Bring to a full boil, then boil one minute. Remove from heat.
Immediately blend in:
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 t. vanilla
3 c, quick oats
Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper to cool. Eat. Smile. Draw a hot bath. Go to bed. Leave a few cookies on the nightstand for middle-of-the-night craving.

oh man. these are one my many weaknesses. they are so good. i made this recipe a few months ago, and as i was living alone, i ate every last one, except the one i gave to finn, which he promptly threw up - i forgot he doesn't like peanut butter....
yeah, reese didn't care for them, either. more for mama! WAH ha haaaa!
i really like the instructions that follow the recipe. your aunt flo's a wise old lady.
